Congratulations to Noah and the Lincoln Cardinals JV2 team, completing their season with a 14-1 record.

Following his brother’s footsteps, Noah played center-defensive mid, or the #6 position, for the first time in his youth soccer career. He had great success and got an excellent opportunity to develop, playing 85-100% minutes in each match. He helped lead his team, outscoring their opponents 79-9 throughout the season, and 5 of the 9 goals scored against them occurred while he was on the bench.

This team moved the ball well on grass fields, mostly in poor conditions. At first, I was frustrated by the practice and playing fields, but overall, these conditions helped these boys gain experience not playing on artificial turf, proving that you can still play a beautiful game of soccer on a field that isn’t ideal.

This group of mostly Freshmen and a few Sophomores will keep the Lincoln Cardinals at the top when they take over the reins in the future.
